My life is different from yours in some aspects. However, i can relate to what you posted. When i get a little bit nervous about sth, i head to the fridge and eat sth (usually chocolate. If not, a teaspoon of cream or pizza cheese. Again if not, a teaspoon of peanut butter). If i get overwhelmed, i head to my art studio and start an impromptu painting.

About food in general, i take my time while eating my meals (I HATE to be rushed while eating), and i leave the table as soon as i finish my meals.

Yes, it’s so easily done, thanks for sharing. I can relate, the art studio visits are so much more productive than overeating for sure! The thing is, when I paint, I don’t think about eating and can happily skip meals.

Eating slowly is definately better for you, it should be a bit more sacred like the ‘old days’ where people took time to eat. I tend to eat quickly and feel hungry after.

I’d love to see your latest artwork, can you share?

About eating slowly, it runs in my family (both my parents and grandparents are like this. It rarely occured that my brothers and i eat breakfast hastily). And yes, for us, eating meals (mostly breakfast and lunch) is a sacred ritual.

And as for my latest artworks, see my recent Note.

That’s interesting, maybe I got fast eating from my older brother. My parents really took their time, I used to finish off my mum’s food!

It's possible. Younger siblings learn from both their parents and older siblings. TBH, there have been times when i finish off the food (we don't finish off each other's food), but lately, i try not to do so because i know i can become obese if i'm not careful with my eating.
