There is a concept that really strikes a chord with me. It's the notion that all master artists- those who landed on a specific style and made something wholly their own- all went through the stages of Exploration and Exploitation. First, they explored, going *wide*. Trying many styles, mastering their craft, searching for the thing that resonated, hummed, filled their spirit, made sense. This is like searching for your voice, your true voice. And then, the stage of exploitation, going *deep*. Pulling out the proverbial microscope, failing, playing, creating something new, generating from *within.*

There's nothing wrong with influence, with exploration, with play. But there is so much within us to explore that we will never unearth if we don't turn down the volume on the world, on what others are doing, and go deep.

This writing was poignant and brings up points worthy of sincere contemplation. I am excited to be on this journey with you & can't wait to see what you create. You can do it.
