I need to catch up on your other posts, but my brother-by-love was recently diagnosed with CKD and also had that much excess weight in fluid earlier this year. He’s the least depressed or suicidal person I know, but during that period I feared for him and finally he let me call his doctors and get him a better/more intense diuretic. That much weight made him waddle and he couldn’t sleep due to - like you - fluid filling his lungs. Well done with your art and installation - and people often walk away with something other than we intended.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. How is he doing now? Yes, I understand how he felt, it's really bewildering!

Yes, absolutely, and as Andy Warhol said: “Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”

It's easy to get caught in the approval/praise trap.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Great quote by Warhol! And Craig is on Farcica (sp?) and doing better, thank you for asking!

It is a brilliant quote, so fundamental to any creative pursuit. Simple but powerful.

I’m so glad to hear that. I’ve not heard of that, it’s a diuretic right?
