Each Wednesday I ask a different artist the same three questions.
This week's featured artist is a close friend and peer in the art world, its emerging Bristol Artist, Fowsachi.
1. What first sparked your interest in creating art?
It’s not an interest it’s a compulsion.
2. What are your regrets?
No regrets, I think that’s the wrong way of looking at things. I think we’re all a product of our experiences. Making mistakes is part of life and helps you grow.
3. What wisdom would you offer someone beginning their art career, or exploring art for the first time at any stage in life?
If you really wanna be an artist you won’t be able to stop making stuff so becoming an artist is inevitable. If you make enough stuff you’ll see recurring themes or elements start to pop up and that’s your style. Trust the process. Also, get ready for no one to give two fucks. If you can get over those two hurdles then you’ll be all good.
